This book is intended for anyone with an interest in felt. It is aimed at embroiderers and quilters to encourage them to experiment with methods of creating felted fabrics to add individuality to their work but also at felt makers in the hope that they will find new techniques to extend their practice. It is a book about techniques rather than completed works, but a small section of projects is included for initial ideas on ‘where to go now’?  

Although it is not intended as a technical manual but rather an ideas book, it is essential for beginners to feltmaking to understand the process to enable them to have control over the results.
